Gene R. Fulmer

NOCONA, TX – Gene R. Fulmer left his early life for his eternal one on Sunday, December 18, 2011.

Mr. Fulmer was born April 10, 1949 to Ray M. Fulmer and Lucy (Howie) Fulmer in Aiken, South Carolina.

Gene graduated from Aiken High School and attended one year of college before joining the army in 1968.  He served in the 450th Ord Co. (Ammo) for 4 years and then re-enlisted for 2 years in a special military intelligence unit.

Gene married Patricia Lee Frommer in Aiken SC on April 11, 1969.   Gene and Pat moved to Wichita Fall TX in 1976.

He started Custom Metal Services, bought out AMSCO Steel Product Company and had several other endeavors throughout the years.  Currently he owned AMSCO Steel Products, Altus, OK.

Gene's favorite hobbies were flying his airplanes for over 40 years, traveling in the motor home and working on his ranch.

Gene loved the Lord and strived to serve Him each day.  He loved to give anyone in need.  He was devoted to his family and many friends.  He had a special love for his church at Bonita Baptist.  He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife Pat of Nocona; his daughter, April Reed and husband Jerry of Trenton; his daughter, Tish Ayers of Bowie; granddaughters, Cessna and Cassidy Reed.
